Wearing your Bracelet

Our copper bracelets are made from pure copper and no magnets are
involved. Copper has been worn for 1,000’s of years but at what point
it’s therapeutic qualities were noticed is not known, Today however,
many people suffering from joint pain, benefit from the relief they
receive from wearing a copper bracelet.

Research indicates that they are most effective for joints damaged by
repetitive actions at work or in sport and for joints that have been
broken or similarly injured in the past. Similarly people with age
related joint pain claim similar degrees of relief.

A small percentage of people however, seem to experience no benefit
at all, and for this reason, Spellbound offers no guarantee for the
effectiveness of our bracelets.

We recommend therefore, that if , after a week you are
experiencing no improvement, that you try the other wrist.

DO I WEAR IT ALL THE TIME?

Yes!, day and night if it is to be effective. Taking it off
occasionally doesn’t matter, but it does interrupt the process. The
bracelet can be safely worn in the shower or when washing up.
Most people find that it doesn’t matter on which wrist they
wear the bracelet for it to be effective. A very small percentage
however discover that they need to wear it on a particular wrist
in order to obtain relief.
After deciding on the design, select a bracelet that is a comfortable fit, as you will be wearing it constantly if it is to be effective

We suggest that you measure your wrist and allow a little extra. Peter's wrist is 178mm . And he finds that a 185mm bracelet fits him perfectly. The two
ends need not touch but should be not too far apart.
Copper reacts to warmth and you may find that after exercise
or during warm weather it leaves a dark blue mark on your
skin. Nothing can be done about this apart from washing the
skin. Rubbing the inside of the bracelet with a clean dry cloth
helps, but no cleaning agent should be used as this can
impede the working of the bracelet.

Cleaning agents may be used on the outside of the bracelet
without damage to the design, but we find that a good hard
rub with a clean dry cloth suffices and this allows the natural
patina (finish ) to shine through.
